January 11, 2018 in Orange California, after a long illness.
Born July 31, 1925 in Lily Brook, WV, she was the
daughter of the late Steve Reaves and Willy Mae Jennings.
Helen McDorman was co-owner and operator for 17 years
at Mac's Discount in Coal City. She also operated a beauty
shop in Coal City. She was of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her husband John D.
McDorman and her mother Willy Reaves. She also had a
brother Clarence R. Reaves.
Survivors include her daughter Mrs. Bill (Linda)
Bartholomae of Orange, California; her granddaughter
Christy Sweeney and her grandson Billy Bartholomae; and
Two great grandsons Ryan Sweeney and Devin Sweeney.
Service will be at 3:00PM Saturday February 17th. at
Blue Ridge Funeral Home 5251 Robert C Byrd Drive
Beckley, WV with Bill Bartholomae officiating. Entombment
will follow in the Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens
Mausoleum of Serenity, Prosperity.
