Hester Ann Vandall Holiday

Hester Ann Vandall Holliday, beloved mother, grandmother and great-grandmother peacefully departed this world to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at the Rocking Chair Nursing Home in Lerona, WV. Born on June 13, 1930 in Summers County, WV, she was the daughter of the late Wilbur Shirkey Vandall and Anna Ethel Clement Vandall.

Hester was a member of the Bradley Free Will Baptist Church and loved traveling with the youth on outings. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lawrence “Teddy” Holliday; son, James Holliday; a granddaughter, April McNeely; a great-granddaughter, Keyley Mounts; two sisters; and five brothers.

Those left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna McDaniel and husband, Sam, Teddi Ann McNeely and husband, Eddie, Patty Peters and husband, Wayne and Lisa Dawson and husband, Steve; nine grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; a brother, Bob Vandall; and a sister, Ruth Snuffer.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm, Friday, July 5, 2019 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm in the Chapel of Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Reverend Daniel Legg officiating and special music by Eddie McNeely. Burial will follow in the Tower Garden of Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
