James was a member of the US Air Force, serving with duty, honor, and respect for his country.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Jimmy Prince and wife Jinny Prince; daughter, Susan Boggs and husband Norman Boggs; brother, Paul Randolph Prince and wife Brenda; grandchildren, Kayla and Mathew Dunlap, Katelyn and Wes Moore, Seth and Hannah Prince, Norman A. Boggs, and Suzannah C. Boggs.
A private funeral service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Brandon Hawley officiating.
