
Blue Ridge Funeral Home Beckley WV Jerry Lee Hill Jerry Lee Hill 64, of Saulsville went home to be with the Lord on Monday August 4, 2014. Born September 17, 1948 in Wyoming county he was the son of the late Demp and Annie Bailey Hill. Jerry was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp, proudly serving his country during the Vietnam war. He was a member of the UMWA, where he worked for Eastern Pea body at their mine in Kopperston for 22 years. He attended Saulsville Baptist Church. Jerry was an avid hunter, and he currently held the record for the Largest Buck harvested by bow in the state of West Virginia. Jerry was very proud of this achievement and loved telling people the story. He was a caring man, who always provided for his family. He will be deeply missed by everyone that knew him. Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife Linda Clay Hill, his son Phillip Hill and his wife Christina their daughter Jenna, His daughter Phillina Breckenridge and her husband Charles, their son Eli. A host of brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, and very dear friends. In keeping with Jerry’s wishes he will be cremated. A private celebration of life will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
