Born August 13, 1949 in Abraham, WV. He was an Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sisters, Wilda Cales and Gladys Key.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, John Wesley Bennett and Stephanie Rae Rummer; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Bennett.
Friends may gather with the family Wednesday, November 2, 2016 from 10-11am at Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
Funeral service will be held 11am, Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home with Pastor Bill Parker officiating.
Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
