Mrs. Ladene Norris

Ladene Carolyn Lively Norris 94, of Crab Orchard, died Monday, January 20,2025 joining her husband Bill for a heavenly celebration on their 74th anniversary. Born May 12, 1930, at Long Branch, WV she was the daughter of the late Carnie and Irene Janney Lively. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Ladene was a homemaker, member of Crab Orchard Baptist Church, Friendship Sunday School and choir. She was active in several church ministries as well.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Bill, brothers Gene (Daphne) Lively, Marvin Lively, sister Loretta Lively Trimble, father and mother-in-law Anthony and Ellen Reid Norris, brothers-in-law Andrew (Eula) Norris, and James (Myrtle) Norris.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters Pamela Norris, and Carolyn (Robert) Skiles, both of Crab Orchard, sons Anthony Norris of Mocksville, NC; and Todd (Kristie) Norris of Beckley. Grandchildren Tomisha (Brian) Casey of Clemmons, NC, Travis Norris of Lewisburg, WV, Tori Norris of Mocksville, NC, Ty and Kylie Norris of Beckley, Great-grandchildren Braven and Swayze Casey of of Clemmons, NC. She is also survived by a sister-in-law, Sue Lively of Beckley and brother-in-law Mike Trimble of Simpsonville, NC as well as numerous, much-loved nieces and nephews.

Services will be held at 1:00 pm Friday January 24, 2025 at Crab Orchard Baptist Church with Dr. Mike Sisson, Dr. David Bush and Pastor Dewey Lowe officiating. Burial will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens at a later date. Friends may gather with the family from 11:30 am until the time of the service at the church.

Pallbearers will be Travis Norris, Ty Norris, Mark Lively, Rod Lively, Paul Trimble and Clark Clay.
