Marion A. Meadows, 88, of Matthews, NC, passed away Sunday, February 26, 2017 following a long illness. She was the daughter of the late Paris Hatcher and Alda Bolen Hatcher. Born February 9, 1929 in Rhodell, WV. She was a member of Oak Grove Christian Church. She enjoyed sewing, gardening, being outdoors and working with her hands. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Gary Meadows; several brothers and sisters. Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband of 70 years, Virgil Meadows of Matthews; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Friends may gather with the family Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park Mausoleum from 11-12. Funeral service will be held 12pm, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Park.
