Mary Lee Painter of Eccles, went home to be with the Lord, on Tuesday, November 30, 2021, following a long illness. Born September 19, 1944 in Olcott, WV, she was the daughter of the late Myrtle Elsie McGhee Morris.
Mary was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She was kind to anyone that she met and tried to help anyone in need.
She was preceded in death by her husband Edward Lewis Painter, and daughter Marsha Gail Painter as well as her siblings: Freddie Alvin Morris, James David Morris, Gary Dean Morris, and Wanda Lou Morris. Also her father-in-law, Hary Lewis Painter.
Those remaining to cherish Mary’s memory include her son, Gary Wayne Painter and wife Susan A. Painter, and her grandchildren, Juanita June Painter, William Edward Gayle Painter, Mary Elizabeth Martin (Milam), Jason Wayne Painter, Jessica Dawn Simmons, and Zachary Adam Lester.

Services will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 6:00 pm with Pastor John Jordan officiating. Cremation will be provided by Blue Ridge Funeral Home.
