Mary was a member of the Emmanuel Baptist Church – Beckley. Mary also enjoyed cooking, Gardening and camping in her younger years. Mary loved the outdoors and spent much of her time caring for her garden.
In addition to her parents Mary is preceded in death by her loving husband of 70 years, Frank Palmer Jr.; 6 brothers, Carl, Raymond, Howard, Charles, Titus, and John; 3 sisters, Grace, Glennis, and Eva.
Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Charles Palmer and wife Ruby of Beckley, WV, Randy Palmer and wife Gail of Oakton, VA; 3 grandchildren, Amy McGuire and husband Jason of Russell, KY, Erik Palmer and wife Elisa of Potomac Mills, VA, Emily Cassee and husband Dave of Reston, VA; 6 great grandchildren, Hayden, Ellie, Asher, Lucy, Jaklin, and Shea.
Funeral Service will be held at Blue Ridge Funeral Home on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at 2pm.
Friends may gather with the family from 12-2pm.
The family would like to thank the staff of the Oak Hill Place for the care Mary received during her time there.
