Michael Wayne Williams

Mike worked hard all his life and loved being outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, and loved hunting, and looking for ginseng, and mushrooms. He was also an Army vet and fought in the toughman contest. He enjoyed fishing videos and boxing in his downtime.

Mike was preceded in death by his parents, David Williams and Paulette Stover Williams.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 8 years, Sheila Williams; a son Derek Williams and Derek's children, Zaiden Williams, Chance Williams, Walker Williams, and Westyn Williams; a son Phoenix Williams; a daughter, Caressa Browning and Caressa’s children, Zoey Bailey, Layla Browning, and Melody Browning; stepmother, Vickie Williams; brother Aaron Williams; 3 stepsons, Cecil Sargent, Michael Sargent, and Norman Sargent; as well as many aunts, cousins, and a host of friends.

The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and CNA’s at Beckley Healthcare, and a special thank you to Brenda and Brandi, and the activity staff for being so good to Mike during his time there.

There will be a memorial service for Mike on Saturday, July 12th at 2PM at Ewing Creek Church, 129 Calvary Lane, Clear Creek,WV.
