
Nellie Williams, 68, of Plum Orchard, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2015 after battling cancer for two years. Nellie was born on July 11, 1946, to the late Jasper and Mary Buttrick-Tolliver. Nellie graduated from Woodrow Wilson High School in 1964. She was a former employee for the West Virginia Parkways Authority was a secretary for several state parks. She was also the business owner of A+ Tax Service in addition to a licensing preparation service. In addition to her parents, Nellie was preceded in death by her sister, Teresa Chapman. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Keith Williams; two sons, Timothy Williams and Eric Williams; daughter-in-law Mischelle Williams; three grandchildren, Mariah Marling, Bodhi Williams and Strom Williams; sisters, Charlotte Cabello, Jackie Ward, and Loretta Hawes. A memorial service to celebrate the life of Nellie will be held 6 p.m. Saturday, June 13, 2015 at the Church of God in Pax, W.Va. Friends may gather with the family from 5 p.m. until the time of the service at the church. The family is asking in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley, WV 25801. Blue Ridge Funeral Home has the honor of serving the Williams family.
