

He was born on March 24, 1934 on Barkers Ridge, Wyoming County, West Virginia. He was a loving husband and father, a devoted Christian that loved serving his Lord and Savior. He loved spending time with his boys, hunting, fishing, trail riding, coon hunting, working around the farm and just sitting around sharing memories. He loves spending time with his family and especially his Big Ole Cat, Pete. He worked for Vecellio and Grogan for 16 years and was a retired coal miner from Westmoreland Coal, Eccles #5 & 6. He will be sadly missed.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Hobert, Ray, Everett, Dan and Pete; sisters, Vicie, Rosale, Ginny, Stella, Rachael, Mary and Martha.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Cornel Perdue; sons, Marvin Perdue and wife Lessie of Glen Daniel, Jeffery Perdue and wife Stephaine of Surveyor; grandsons, Joseph Perdue of Cross, SC, Jeffery Perdue of Surveyor and Matthew Perdue of Old Eccles Rd; great-grandchildren, Lindsey Perdue, John Perdue and their mother Missy Perdue of Kernersville, NC; sisters, Reba Perdue and Molly Perdue both of Crab Orchard and a host of nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
2 Corinthians 5:8 “We are confident, I say, and willing rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.” Buck is home, healthy and happy with his Lord. WE LOVE YOU BUCK!!!
Friends may gather with the family, Saturday, January 30, 2016 from 1-2pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. Services will be held at the funeral home, Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2pm. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens with Pastor Jeffery Perdue officiating. Joseph Perdue, Jeffery Perdue, Matthew Perdue, Gary Perdue, Emory Wilson and Corey McKinney will be serving as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that donations be made to Hospice of Southern West Virginia, PO Box 1471, Beckley, WV 25802.
