Pamela Jean (Kincaid) Griffin

Pamela Jean Kincaid Griffin, 74, born October 27, 1950 in Gauley Bridge, WV; went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 23, 2025. She was the daughter of the late Norma and Eugene Kincaid and Cecil Grose. She was the mother of Robert Sharp who preceded her in death in 2000. He was her sunshine who left us all too soon. She was the wife of Jack Griffin who passed away in 2017.

She earned her Associates Degree in Accounting from Gaston College on May 11, 2012. She worked hard in banking and administration all throughout her life.

Those left to cherish her memory include her loving siblings, Fran Shelton of Bradley, Todd Kincaid and wife, Margaret of Sterling, VA, Phil Kincaid and wife, Belinda of Maple Fork, Vera Wood and husband, Thomas of Harker's Island, NC; Paula Herndon and husband, Steve of Summersville, Denny Grose of Summersville, Amy Roberts and husband, Bill of Summersville; several loving nieces and nephews.

Pam loved working with her Church Family at Sunset Forest Baptist Church in Gastonia, NC in their Food Pantry and Clothes Closet where she met and helped so many people. She also loved to bake, cook, and collect cookbooks. She loved to try new recipes to share with her family and friends. Above all, she loved her family and spending time at family reunions and visiting folks. She loved the fellowship, singing, and love that was shown to everyone that gathered. She always had the songbooks and recipes and knowledge of kin. She showed her love by many gifts she crafted sewing, cooking, and crocheting.

A service to celebrate the life of Pamela Jean Griffin will be held 12:00PM Saturday, February 1, 2025 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Reverend Roger Pauley officiating. Pamela will be laid to rest at Restlawn Memorial Gardens, Ansted at a later date.

Friends may gather with the family from 11:00AM until time of the service Saturday at the funeral home.
