Pat, as she was known to everyone, was born May 8, 1928 in Enterprise, WV to the late James Harrison and Lucille Stutler. Pat was a homemaker, a familiar face in various workplaces, a devout Christian, and a member of the Stanaford Missionary Baptist Church over 65 years. Pat worked many years as a receptionist at the Raleigh County Courthouse and as a lab technician with Phillips Optical.
A spirited lady, Pat was never one to sit idle. She could be found at the Raleigh Center and Tudor’s Biscuit World almost daily and always encircled by her many friends (perhaps some she had just met that day).
Pat married Marcelles Harvey Gwinn, (Buzz), on August 24, 1952. They shared 38 wonderful years of marriage until Buzz’s passing in 1990, following which Pat continued her faithful work in the church until she was no longer able to do so. In addition to her parents, Pat was also preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her only child, Sharon Kay Gwinn Cain (Ken), Evansville, Indiana; two granddaughters, Kristin McNeish Robinson (Cory), St. Peters, Missouri; Tiffany McNeish Basham (Alvin), Poseyville, Indiana; and two great- grandchildren, Riley and Reese Basham. In addition to family, Pat is also survived by her lifelong best friend Charlotte Poole of Beckley.

Byrd Drive, Beckley, WV, with the Reverend George Wood officiating. Following the services she will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband "Buzz" at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
