Peggy enjoyed reading her bible, working cross word puzzles and talking to everyone. She was a graduate of Pax High School and worked as the lunch lady at Pax High School. Peggy was a member of the New Prospect Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, Peggy is preceded in death by her sister, Jane Billings and brother, Jackie Coleman.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 63 years, Charles Plumley; daughters, Pat Seman and husband, Paul of Whiting, IN, Martha Davidson of Beckley, WV, Charlene Brewer and husband, Jim of Whiting, IN; siblings, Billie Ann Crouse, Alice Holden, Nancy Kubasek, Roby Billings; 7 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday, January 5, 2015 at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens.
Friends may gather with the family Sunday from 6 – 8 PM at the funeral home.
