Ricky Steven Howerton

Ricky Steven Howerton, 58, of Midway, passed away October 28, 2015. He was the son of the late Amos Howerton and Mary Lee Blevins Howerton. He was born September 3, 1957 in Mullens, West Virginia. He married his lifelong friend and soul mate, Pamela Eller Howerton on March 13, 2009 after reconnecting on March 13, 2003. He enjoyed working, being outdoors, Nascar, watching the Oakland Raiders & WVU Mountaineers. Ricky also enjoyed being with his friends, family and his dogs Tank and Socks. Ricky is preceded in death by his parents, Amos Howerton and Mary Lee Blevins Howerton and his father-in-law Jack Eller. Those left to cherish his memory are wife, Pamela Eller Howerton of Midway; daughter, Estonia Lace Howerton of Asheville, North Carolina; step daughter, Terra Baker and husband James of White Sulphur Springs; brother, Larry Howerton and wife, Lois of Beaver; sister, Linda Doss of California; mother-in-law, Iris Eller; grandchildren, Levi Matthew Young, Briana Adams, Chelsie Baker and Hunter Baker. Friends may gather with the family at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Sunday, November 1st from 1-2pm. Services will be held Sunday at 2pm at the funeral home with Pastor Don Kelly officiating.
