Sheila Ann Burton

Sheila Barhouse Burton, 61, of Surveyor, passed away December 9, 2021.

Born November 21, 1960 in Richwood, WV; she was a daughter of the late Darrell Lee Barnhouse and the late Amanda Joyce Barnhouse.

Sheila was a graduate from Richwood High School, loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and her dog Sophie.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Darrell Lee Barnhouse, Jr, and son-in-law, Tevin Jackson.

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lindsey Burton of Beckley; a son, Nicholas Burton and wife, Cherie’ Peacock of Beckley; God-daughters, Angie Martin and Adrian Lowe and Husband, Channing of Beckley; brother, Michael Barnhouse of Richwood; sister, Brenda Spencer of Brandywine, grandchildren, Javeontae Jackson, Sebastian Jackson, Taleigha Jackson, Trenton Jackson, James Carter, Jaden Lowe, Rae-Lynn Lowe, Kyn-lee Lowe, Braleigh Lowe; companion of 11 years, Billy Webb; nephews, Christopher Barnhouse, Michael Barnhouse, Jr, Jeremiah Spencer, and Adam Lowe; nieces, Amanda Boggs and Jessica Harper; best friend of more than 50 years, Elizabeth Martin and husband, Steve of Richwood; extended family and friends.

In keeping with her wishes, a Memorial Service to celebrate her life will be held 6:30PM Tuesday, December 28, 2021 at the Lester Community Center (Old Lester Elementary School building) with Rev. Brian Copney officiating. Friends may gather with the family from 5:00PM until 8:30PM Tuesday December 28, 2021 at the Lester Community Center, Lester.
