Shirley was an affectionate father, devoted grandfather, a loving brother and a faithful friend. He was hard working and a faithful Christian and leader in the church. Shirley attended the Mt. Hope Christian Church and loved classic cars and watching westerns. He was a dedicated Chevy man, always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by 4 sisters and a grandson, Jack Michael Treadway.
Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Jared Treadway and wife Kim, Shawn Stevens and husband Mark; brothers, Jack, Galen, Kenny, and Homer; sisters, Jessie, Emogene and Judy; grandchildren, Emma, Anna, Will, Harrison, Taylor, Luke and Logan; great grandchildren, Kaiden and Sage.
Graveside service will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Saturday, December 5, 2020 at 12:00 pm.
In keeping with current health restrictions all guests must wear facial coverings.
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Mt, Hope Christian Church.
