Susan McDonald Mitchell, 84 of Beckley, WV passed away peacefully on April 17, 2017 with her family by her side. She was a homemaker and enjoyed hobbies such as sewing, knitting, traveling but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Kenneth and Elizabeth Cree and numerous brothers and sisters. Left behind to cherish her memory is her loving and devoted husband of 58 years John Mitchell, children Craig (Becky) Mitchell of Kentucky, and Ona Mitchell Hudspeth of Texas, brother Tommy (Peggy) Cree of Northern Ireland, and sister Agnes (William) Dawson also of Northern Ireland, grandchildren Kaela (Cory) Ward, Taylor Hudspeth, and great-grandchildren Casen, Coen, and Callen Ward, and a host of loving nieces, nephews, family and friends that will miss her dearly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 11AM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home, Beckley. Visitation for family and friends will be one hour prior to service time.
