Teddy Combs Jr.

Teddy Combs Jr. was born on December 23, 1943 in Hatcher, WV to his late parents Teddy Combs and Ama (Bowden) Combs. He went to be with the Lord on August 27, 2020 in Charleston, WV at the age of 76.

Teddy is preceded in death by his parents; 3 children Donald, Carol, and Eddie Combs. Teddy leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 51 years, Nancy (Wyatt) Combs; daughter Mitzi (Combs) Cohenour; grandchildren Derek (Rachel), Rebecca (Adam), Robert (Devin), Kristen (Ryan), and Anthony; great-grandchildren Italy, Ronan, Wyatt, Jackson, Elijah, and Aaron; brother James (Phyllis) Combs; sisters Elsie Church and Mildred Caldwell; and many extended family and friends who will miss him dearly.

Teddy was a man of Faith and his passion in life was the Lord and his family. He enjoyed watching sports, working with handicapped adults, and helping those in need. He was a happy gentleman who wanted to help and make others laugh by telling jokes. His joy and love for happiness has left an imprint on all of those who were blessed to know him. He will forever be loved and missed.

The family will receive friends on Monday, August 31, 2020 from Noon - 1 pm at Blue Ridge Funeral Home. A funeral service will begin at 1 pm with Mitzi Combs Cohenour officiating.
