Mr. Thomas F. Treadway

Thomas Franklin Treadway, 77, of Sims Branch Road, Mt. Hope, WV left this life to join his loved ones in Heaven, Friday, May 19, 2017 at his home from nine years of illness. Born on April 6, 1940 on Sims Branch Road he was the son of the late Thomas Snoden Treadway and Dorothy Lois Hurd. Tom was a 30 year retiree of Appalachian Hospital. He loved gardening and working on old cars and he loved his family more than anything. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 20 years, Nancy Lawrence Treadway and a brother Steven Treadway. Left to cherish his memory include his loving wife of 30 years, Paulette Settle Treadway, two daughters, Jennifer Estep and husband; Tony, Kristy Tolliver and Husband; RD, two sons Thomas Jeffery Treadway and Donald Ray Treadway, Step daughter Nonie Williams and husband Mitchell, Step sons; Justin Hodge and wife Becky and Brian Hodge, a sister Dorothy Shrewsbury and husband Jack; brother Timothy Treadway and wife Carolyn, sister-in-law Ruth Treadway, sister-in-law, Jo Ann Durham, Brother-in-law, George T. Settle and his wife Freda, brother-in-law Jim Chapman, several Aunts and Uncles, several nieces and nephews, seventeen grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren. Graveside rights will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on May 23, 2017 at 3PM at Mausoleum three. Eulogy and prayer by son-in-law Rev. R.D. Tolliver “Go Rest High” sung by future grandson, Mike Bailey. Grandsons will serve as pallbears and a special thanks to his special caregivers, Tiffany Brown, and Kathy Treadway, aids and nurses from hospice.
