

Tom was born January 11,1940 in Jon-Ben,WV. His parents who proceeded him in death were Thomas H. Wills, SR and Nancy Hatcher Wills. Jerry Wills, his brother, and four sisters Willa Pegram, Edra Adkins, Alma Keaton and Faye Roark also proceeded him in death.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years Dorothy Huffman Wills his children, Tabatha Basler(Jeff) of Chapmansboro, TN, Thomas Wills III (Karen) of Coal City, WV and Timothy Wills (Holly) of Sneads Ferry, NC.
Three step children, Jeff Williams (Tammy) Cynthia Calloway (Bob) and Donna Toney (Warren) He has three grandchildren who he loved dearly, Brittany Pittman, Autumn Wills and Hunter Basley. His great-grandchildren his baby girl Cloee Grace who he adored so much, his namesake Thomas, Ace, and Clark.
Two sisters, Joyce Overbay (Joe) and Nancy Sturgill (Leon), a sister-in-law Zelda Wills and many nieces and nephews.
Tom graduated from Stoco High School and received a Bachelors Degree from McKendrie College. He spent over 22 years in the military. He was a helicopter pilot in Vietnam retiring from the Army in 1984. His many medals, ribbons, and badges, included the following, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (2), Good Conduct Medal, Army Aviator Badge, Vietnam Service Medal(3), Campaign Stars, Air Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Overseas Service Bars, Armed Forces Reserve Medal,Vietnam Cross Of Gallantry w/ Palm, Army Commendation Medal, 2nd Oak Leaf Cluster, Sharpshooter Ribbon and his most cherished The Distinguished Flying Cross. He received this for flying wounded soldiers out of combat while under enemy fire. He was a true American Hero.
He worked as a State Rep for the Department of Veteran Affairs for over 10 Years, helping local veterans receive the benefits they deserved.
He and his wife managed the Beckley Antique Mall on George Street in Beckley, WV for fourteen years. He enjoyed attending car shows where he put on display his 1930 Model A Ford car that won him many trophy's.
Tom will forever be in our hearts and we will miss him beyond measure. He was very loved. In keeping with his wishes he will be cremated and as he requested there will be no funeral services. A Military Honor Ceremony will be held on April 20,2022 at 11AM at Blue Ridge Funeral Home located at 5251 Robert C Byrd Drive Beckley, WV 25801
