Born on September 19th, 1953, he was the son of the late Earl Blake and Edna Mann Blake.
Timothy was a hardworking man, diligently providing for his family. Long hours were met with true grit, as Timothy made a living working in the coal mines for 38 years. After retirement, Timothy spent his days by being around his loving family; teaching his grandkids how to do things and watching them play sports. He enjoyed woodworking, hunting, working in his yard, especially with his tractor; feeding birds and squirrels, camping at the Greenbrier River, and working on his old Chevelle. In addition to these hobbies, he also attended Faith Community Church and sang in a church group at Mullens Church of God.
In addition to his parents, Timothy was preceded in death by a brother, Donald Blake.
Those left to cherish his memory include his beloved wife of 52 years, Suzetta; 3 children, Tonya Farley (David) of Beckley, Joey Blake (Mary), of Beckley, and Paul Blake of Beckley; siblings, Roger Blake of North Carolina, Dennis Blake (Ester), of Beckley, Wayne Blake (Sheila) of Beckley, and Judy Fisher (Butch) of Beckley; and grandchildren, Tyler and Derek Farley, Luke Blake, Robbie Marshall, and Colton Blake.
