

Lee was born in Mullens July 10, 1952, son of Roxie Dean and Waymon McKinney.
Lee love fishing, hunting, golfing and taking his horses to horse shows when he was younger. His favorite horse was named Joker Star. He enjoyed spending time with family and vacations at Smith Mountain Lake.
He loved his grandchildren, Caleb and Gracin and the time he spent with them. Lee enjoyed many fishing and hunting trips with his son, friend John Link and fishing buddies from work.
Lee graduated 1971 from Mullens High School. He was quarterback for the Rebels. He retired from Appalachian Electric Power Plant in Glen Lyn, Virginia and attended Open Door Church in Shady Spring.
Lee was proceeded in death by his beloved wife Pamela McKinney, father, Waymon, Mother, Roxie and sister, Becky.
Left to cherish his memory are his son, Josh McKinney and fiancée Veronica Goad, grandsons Caleb McKinney and Gracin Price, sisters Cheryl Oakley and Sue Stanley, his loved nieces and nephew and many special friends.
A graveside service for Waymon will be held at the Faith Chapel Mausoleum at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens on Tuesday March 31st at 2pm. Family and friends are encouraged to arrive at 1:45pm to offer their condolences to the family before the services.
