I'm so sorry to hear of Allan's passing.  He was such a sweet man, and I only have the fondest memories of him.  I wish there was something I could say that would make this easier for you.  Sending you strength and lots of love.

I know there are no words that can take away the pain and loss you are feeling now, but know this: Allan was one of the finest men I have known in my life, and there are many, many more people that feel the same way. We didn't speak too often in the last few years, but when we did we knew that the love and friendship of 60 years was as strong as ever, just as it is with you and Jess.

To Allan I would say: "Rest in peace my dear friend. May the angels light your path and your heart truly be at peace. I'll always think of you."

I lost a dear friend for over 50 years.  As we get older we see dear friends passing a lot.  In this passing , Allan and I had a  unique friendship. We rented apartments in the same complex and from that time on , we were more than just friends. We experienced good times and not so good times, but the friendship stayed strong .We kept in contact over the years and thanks to FB we never lost contact. We knew his family, he knew mine ..H e was incredibly special and his passing has give me a broken heart .I ask Ann when she see him on Friday, whisper in his ear That I loved him  every minute of those 50 years  Rest In Peace my dear friend 🙏

Dear Ann, the love of Allan's life, Jess, the apple of her Daddy's eye, Jamie, admired son-in-law, Zoe and Sebastian, his sweet grandchildren who are the the other apples of his eye, and loving family our deepest regrets in the loss of Allan  who also was our cherished lifelong friend of  60+  years.
Allan and Ann we're a perfect and true loving couple who always supported each other, especially through life's challenges.
When reminiscing and speaking with Allan he always bursted with pride and love  when talking about Jess and family.
Allan was a swell, good time,  generous and  down to earth guy with  a brilliant mind and great personality who genuinely valued, loved and enjoyed  his life, beautiful family and many friends. who will dearly miss him.

A  limb has fallen from the family tree,

My heart goes out to you and your family in the passing of your husband. The two of you were so fun to watch whenever he attended work functions. In the many pictures and funny stories you shared with us of him and your daughter. The love and respect shined brightly in your eyes, your smiles. Cherish the time you had together.  May God bless you and comfort you in the days to come.

I'm so sorry to hear about your dad's passing - I wish there was a way to carry some of that grief for you, but I know you will still have to walk through it one day at a time. I'm praying for your family as you reflect and remember, gather with loved ones and share fond memories. I hope you don't feel any hesitation to cry as you miss him, but I also hope you share more than a few belly laughs this week as you remember and honor his life.
