Barbara L. Stefanoni

Barbara Lonette Stefanoni, age 66, of Bel Air, MD, passed away on Tuesday, September 21, 2021. Born December 28, 1954 in Baltimore, MD, she was the daughter of the late Lon Johnson and Carole (Jagerman) Evans. She was the beloved wife of Carlo L. Stefanoni for over 48 years.

In addition to her husband, Barbara is survived by her two sons, Michael Stefanoni and his wife Demitra, and Joseph Stefanoni and his wife Stephanie; five grandchildren; two sisters; and five brothers. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two of her brothers.

Barbara enjoyed reading books, watching movies, going to the beach, and spending time with her devoted husband. They were high school sweethearts and were always by each other’s sides. She was a loving wife, mother and Nana. Barbara cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren, and loved spoiling them.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home in Bel Air on Sunday 9/26 from 2-4 and 6-8pm. A burial mass will be held on Monday 9/27 at 10:30am at St. Ignatius Catholic Church in Hickory. Interment will follow at Bel Air Memorial Gardens.
