Bernice Catherine Pojunas

On May 10, 2012, Bernice Catherine Pojunas (nee Knell); beloved wife of the late Leonard William Pojunas, Sr.; devoted mother of Leonard Pojunas, Jr., and his wife Heather Reed, Ronald Pojunas and his wife Barbara and Timothy Pojunas; dear sister of Bernard Knell and his wife Frances, Mary Shamleffer and her husband William and the late Edwin Knell, Jr. and his wife Joanne; loving grandmother of Christopher and Bethany, Scott and his wife Rachel, Erin and her husband Kevin, Amy and Craig, Anna and her husband Chris, William and David; beloved great grandmother of Brendan. Also survived by many nieces and nephews as well as beloved friends Herm Bode, Amie Walsh and Marianne McCabb. Bernice was a teacher for 25 years with Baltimore City Public Schools. She attended Towson State Teachers College where she graduated in 1945.

Relatives and friends may gather at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Md 21014 on Friday 2-4 & 7-9pm. A mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday 1pm at St. Margaret’s Catholic Church.
