On May 1, 2016, Betty Lou (nee Burdette) Garriss passed away. She was born on August 15, 1925 in Damascus, Maryland and resided in Forest Hill, Maryland. She was the beloved wife of the late John E. Garriss, loving mother of Daniel E. Garriss, Sue K. Haynes, Peggy J. Garriss and Brian J. Garriss. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Bingo and so enjoyed spending time with her family.
A funeral service will be held at the Mountain Christian Church-Walker Chapel, 1824 Mountain Road, Joppa, MD 21085 on Friday May 6, 2015 at 11 am with interment to follow at the Highview Memorial Gardens.
