Dear Ms. Lil, Virginia, Debbie, Char and Kathy:  My heart breaks for each of you.  Your father was such a sweet, generous and kind man with a heart of gold.  He was such a significant part of my life growing up on Shamrock Avenue, and I adored him and will always be thankful to him for the love he showed me, even though I hit him in the face with a whipped cream pie.    My favorite thoughts of him are his smile, the trips to Italian Delight for pizza on Friday night, going to Eastpoint Mall (even though he had worked a long day), going to Ms. Anne's for foot-long hot dogs on Sundays,  driving  us to the bus stop every morning to go to school, and his bowling night at Greenway Bowling Alley.  He called me his "other daughter", and I am a better person because of  him.  With love, Susan "Gerlach"... I mean "Germack".
