Remembering Charlotte

An elegant Godmother, niece and cousin. Quiet, reserved, thoughtful and artistic. Someone who shared her spirit and love by gifting books and drawings to Cliff, her Godson, when he was young and helped to instill in him a life-long love of learning. Also known to us as "Sheba", a name she gave to herself because Cliff, when he was young, could not pronounce Charlotte. 

We remember many good times over the years. The couple of summers Charlotte stayed with us when she was still in high school. When Charlotte and Aunt Mil would do each other’s hair, finger nails and make-up, times Aunt Mil remembers most fondly. Another time when Ray and Don road their motorcycles up to our house in Abingdon. Mom says that was the first she saw Charlotte and Don together. Cliff, Michael and Robin remember that motorcycle visit also. Anyway, we all remember many good times we shared together. The Christmas and New Year’s parties hosted by Uncle Tony and Aunt Margaret, the reunions at Rocks State Park, crab feasts, birthday parties... a lot of Rudolf parties. We all remember and always looked forward to the Christmas card envelopes adorned with the singing Wren's.

Just a note today to say we remember and will never forget. Charlotte, rest in eternal peace and know you were much loved!
