

Cynthia Jeanne Bell passed away suddenly on October 13, 2015 at her home. She was born September 24, 1959 in Toronto, Canada to Robert and Jennie Kurica Stonehouse. The family moved to the United States when Cindy was 4 years old. She graduated from San Jose State with a Masters in Speech Pathology and Audiology. Cindy ran a home day care for 14 years and stayed close with the families she provided care. The children under her care thrived and are just now graduating college.
Cindy was also the leader of a campfire for boys and girls group. She volunteered for a rape crisis line and received numerous awards for excellence. Since moving to Maryland in 2003, Cindy also volunteered on the rape crisis line for SARC, and then went to work for SARC counseling violent offenders. She then received certification in traumatic brain injury care and helped numerous disabled clients integrate into society. She recently became a clinical coordinator and impacted even more lives through her guidance and care.
Cindy is survived by her husband of 29 years, Adam James Bell; her children, Kayleigh Christina Bell, Anthony James Bell and Kathryn Jenna Bell ; her parents and numerous other cousins.
The family will receive friends for a Memorial Gathering at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. (610 W. MacPhail Road Bel Air, MD 21014) on Sunday, October 25, 2015 from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at which time a Memorial Service will begin.
