Darlene I just found out that you passed on...I'm so sad...I had the honor of working with you at Farrow Court.  The times we ate out, which you loved, and all the activities we did, I will cherish all the memories.  Love you pretty lady!!

Hi Darlene, may you rest in peace.  I can still hear you saying "hey buddy" everytime you saw me.  I am truly blessed to have had you in my life.

Darlene was a member of the Board of Directors at The Arc Northern Chesapeake Region from 2007-2009.  She brought her special sparkle and perspective to the Board as she represented and advocated for individuals  with disabilities.  She was frank, friendly and lots of fun. Darlene enjoyed her time on the Board and took her responsibility very seriously. Darlene had many friends at The Arc NCR and in the community who will miss her terribly. Our Arc NCR family won't be the same without her.

You were a beautiful person, inside & out. I will always keep you in my heart and thoughts. Thank you for the memories.

Darlene, have a peaceful rest.  There is one more bright star shining down on us now.

Darlene I am so sad you have left us. I will miss your beautiful blue eyes and sweet smile. You always were a special friend and I will miss you but I know you are now an angel watching over all of us!

Rest in peace Darlene! I think about you everyday since I got the news that you passed...the ride to the Armory is not the same! I miss you asking me how was my weekend and how's my "neice" but you meant grand daughter! :) I look for you to come walking through the parking lot at Perryville with your bright orange vest and your broom and dust pan! Thanks for the memories Darlene!!

Darlene, I sure do miss you. I keep hoping to hear you say, "Hey Buddy" which would always lead to discussions about life and love, or hear your quiet knock on the wall in our office because you just wanted to say hello. You always brightened my day. I know that you are in good company in Heaven, and that you will be our welcoming committee when it is our time to join you. Rest easy, my friend.  I love you, I miss you, and I will see you again one day, Buddy :)

Darlene, you left us so unexpectedly, we did not have time to say goodbye. Farewell, my friend. Thank you for all the memories, the smiles, the stories, the compliments and the laughter. You will definitely be missed. When we last spoke you and told me you were going on vacation. I had no idea you meant an "Eternal" one. You picked the best vacation spot ever! Darlene, My heart is broken, I will miss you so much! You will always be remebered as a wonderful friend to many. Rest Peacfully My Beautiful Friend

I have had the privilege of working with you for many years.  On days when my life seemed upside down you would often greet me with a smile and ask me how things were going.  Just that simple act made the day much brighter.  We had a long history together, Darlene and even though you are not here today, you will forever live within my heart.  May you rest easy my friend.  You are truly missed.

Such a beautiful and vibrate person...too young!  God bless you and keep you in His gentle and loving hands.

Hey, Buddy, I'm really going to miss your greetings!  You never failed to say hi and ask how I was, even when you weren't having a particularly good day!  You always cared about those around you and tried to help them when you could.  As sad as I am that you're gone, I know you're in such a better place than any of us can fully comprehend. Darlene will be greatly missed, she had a way of making you feel special! Commenting on how nice she thought you looked, or just telling you that she missed you. She always asked me to tell my husband she said "hello". I had the pleasure of working with Darlene for a short period when she broke her foot a few years ago I will always remember that time with her....
