ArrangeOn August 19, 2011 Dorothy Edna Hunt (nee Gormley);passed away, she was a teacher for the Archdiocese of Baltimore, she taught at the St. Ursula's, St. Dominic's, Most Precious Blood and St. Joseph Fullerton schools, cherished wife of George Hunt, beloved mother of Cliff and Gina Hunt; dear sister of Patricia Weyler, Linda Rowe, Mary Joan Ricker, Michele Taylor, Jules Riley, Frank Gormley, Joseph Gormley, John Gormley and Kevin Gormley; and the late Michael, James and Joan Gormley; expectant grandmother of Elena Marie Hunt; she is also survived by beloved extended family consisting of many nieces and nephews; cherished friends, and countless esteemed students.
Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 West MacPhail Road (at Rte 24) on Sunday, August 21 and Monday, August 22 from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm. A funeral mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 23 at the St. Ignatius Church, Hickory at 10:00 am, interment to follow at the Parkwood Cemetery.
