Frank J. Altenburg, age 87, of Jarrettsville, Maryland passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025. He was the beloved husband of the late Kathleen B. Altenburg (née Ulrich); devoted father of F. Robb Altenburg & his wife Macinia, and Jennifer Ann Jordan; loving grandfather of Noah E. Altenburg, Jarrett M. Altenburg, Marissa C. Altenburg, Kayla H. Billingslea, and Sammy J. Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert & Cora Mae Altenburg, and his brothers, Robert C. Altenburg, Howard N. Altenburg, Ronald L. Altenburg, Sr.
A visitation for Frank will be held Tuesday, May 20, 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 21, 2025 at St John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 3911 Sweet Air Rd, Phoenix, MD 21131. A committal service will follow in John's Evangelical Lutheran Church Cemetery.
