

Henry Forbes Coudon, Jr. was born to Henry F. Coudon, Sr. and Mary (Dietrich) Coudon in Baltimore, MD on July 21, 1928. He died peacefully at home on March 3, 2023 holding the hand of his loving wife, Marilyn Wirth Coudon. Hank and Marilyn were married for 67 years.
He spent his early years growing up in Perryville, MD with his two brothers, Thomas Coudon and Edward Coudon and four sisters, Mary Elizabeth Coudon (deceased), Ann (Coudon) Robbins, Clarita Coudon (deceased) and Kathy (Coudon) Acker.
He graduated in 1946 from Mt. St. Joseph High School in Baltimore, and then attended the University of Maryland. He joined the National Guard while a student there. After college, he joined the US Air Force where he flew F-94C fighter jets as a Radar Observer on both the East and West Coasts for five years.
Hank and Marilyn had six sons; John Lewis Wirth (deceased) and wife Irene, Joseph Henry Coudon and wife Carol, Jeffrey Mark Coudon (deceased), James Mitchell Coudon, Henry Forbes Coudon, III (deceased) and Jerome Matthew Coudon. He loved spending time with his family. He volunteered as a Boy Scout Leader in Havre de Grace at St. Patrick's Church for 9 years. His hobbies included carving decoys and song birds and any type of cabinetry or wood working. He won a blue ribbon in 1985 for a pair of hummingbirds he carved.
He is survived by 13 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.
He was employed by York Building Products for 30 years as Sales Manager until his retirement in 1995.
He attended St. Ignatius Church in Hickory, MD until it became too difficult to walk.
