My heart goes out to each and every member of Butch's wonderful family. He was such a special person and my dear mother's loving godchild. I know the special love he and Mom shared. I will never, ever forget that he was by her side, just moments before she passed to heaven. Now, Aunt Naomi is wrapping her arms around Jesse as he enters the Kingdom of God. I feel so sad you left us early but we know your in a better place and now an your watching down on all of us. I can remember when mr.Jesse catching footballs for me at our varsity football games and I also remember he was happy guy and good friend to me. He was always full laughter and joy .

I feel so sad that you've left us way too early, Jesse.  You were a one of a kind guy... one that I could count on to always make me laugh (the midnight call from Vieques...we laughed every time we saw each other).  And all the kids--the boys...they all adored "Mr. Jesse".  Memories of you will forever live in our hearts until we all meet again in that wonderful place we call Heaven. With a heavy heart...

Jesse was a member of EYC pool league and besides being a GREAT pool shooter he was also a very fun and friendly person. I only knew him for a little bit but considered him a friend. My heartfelt condolences to Denise and his family.

What a great friend and mentor in the workplace. Jesse guided me in my endeavors and helped me move up. He will be deeply missed.

We will miss seeing Jesse working out in his yard. Jesse was a kind and generous person who will be sorely missed. He always treated our children with kindness and coached Michael in baseball when Michael was very young.  We have fond memories of gatherings at the ballfield and sharing time at neighborhood parties for the children.  We enjoyed stopping to chat with Jesse and Denise and sharing many nice times together as our children   grew up together. It was fun celebrating birthdays and graduations and reminicing about how quickly our children have grown.  We could not ask for better neighbors. We are so sorry for your loss Denise, Cory and Katie. Our deepest sympathy to all of Jesse's family.

We had one of life's greatest gifts, and that was the friendship we shared with Jesse.  Jesse was not just a friend he was family. So sad to hear about Jesse. Such a warm, friendly guy. He always loved all the kids in the neighborhood. He recruited Thomas for Corey's baseball team when he was only 4!  Denise, we are thinking of you and Corey and Katie xo Tom, Trish, Kendall and Thomas Thibeault

Unfortunately, I didn't know Jesse very well, but I will always remember his great sense of humor. He left this world too soon. My prayers go out to all of his family and friends.  I am so very sorry for your loss.

To The Flohr Family,
I was a colleague of Jesse's from Amtrak.  I did not know him well and we only met a little over two years ago, but I knew he was a good person.  We would all talk in the mornings at Aberdeen while waiting for the train about the Ravens and work, etc.  Occasionally Jesse would get off in Wilmington, DE where my office is and travel with me to the Training Center.  He was a good person and I am sure he is watching over all of you.  My thoughts and prayers are with you all during this difficult time.  I know too well this loss as I lost my dear wife three years ago to ovarian cancer.  I know she is always with me and our children as Jesse will be for you all.

Uncle Butchie,

You were the best uncle of them all. I will miss so many things about you, but your crazy sense of humor and laugh will definitely be missed the most. You were a great part of our family and we will sorely miss you: cooking for us on holidays and asking us a hundred times of we liked the dish you made, or guessing the flat boxed present we were about to open was a basketball. I love you so much and a day won't go by that I won't think about you. Happy or sad, your memory will never be forgotten.

Jesse had a way about him that made you feel special. He helped fill the absence of my own brothers in my life and I am forever grateful.  You know I loved him like a brother and he will be missed.
