After a long hard fight, Leon lost his battle against COPD on April 25, 2016. He is the son of the late Anna & Charles Chaney. He was born and raised in Baltimore and worked many years with Crown Cork and Seal. He is survived by his loving wife Mary Jo, a son Brandon and his wife Mary, a daughter Shannon Smith and her husband Bob, a step-daughter Samantha Mixon and her husband Bobbie, a step-son Frederick Dale, a sister Shirley Smouse and her husband Larry, and 8 grandchildren.
