

Louis Puglese Sr., age 87, of Fallston, Maryland, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022. He was the beloved husband of Mary Joan Puglese for 65 years; devoted son of the late Mary and Anthony Puglese; loving father of two children, Louis Puglese Jr. and his wife, Doiless and Jennifer Andrews and her husband, Jerry; cherished grandfather to six granddaughters, Fiona, Mary Lou, Maria, Lisa, Marissa, and Christina.
Louis had been a resident of Fallston, Maryland for 42 years. He grew up in Baltimore, Maryland, was raised in the Little Italy neighborhood of Baltimore, and attended St. Leo’s Catholic School. Louis pursued a career in the Optical business. He worked as an Optician, Manager, and Regional Manager. Eventually, he became Senior Vice President of United Optical Center. He met his wife, Mary Joan, at a St. Patrick’s Day dance in Baltimore at Unity Hall in the fifties. They got married in August 1957, and they lived in Baltimore until the couple moved to Harford County in 1980. Louis was a very devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a hard worker, and he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing cards, doing work around the house, exercising at the Bel Air Athletic Club, eating Italian food, watching movies, going to Ravens games, and traveling Ocean City. He will be dearly missed.
Friends and relatives are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral home in Bel Air, 610 W. MacPhail Road on Tuesday, November 29th from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm. A Mass of Catholic burial will be held on Wednesday, November 30th at 10 am at St. Margaret’s Parish Mission location, 1716 Churchville Road, Bel Air, Maryland 21015. Flowers and Mass Cards are welcome and much appreciated.
