Lynne Nancarrow Rossi

Born in Williamsport, Pennsylvania on March 26, 1966, she was the daughter of Lucille (Campbell) Nancarrow and the late Brooks E. Nancarrow.

She was the devoted mother of Megan (Rossi) Shick, wife of Adam, Katherine Rossi, Emma Rossi, and Samuel Rossi and the delighted grandmother of Sophie and Silas Shick. She was the wife of Robert M. Rossi Jr. of 34 years.

Lynne graduated from Loyalsock High School and continued her education at Indiana University of Pennsylvania where she graduated with a bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education.

She was a founding member of New Covenant Christian School in 1999 and for the next 24 years dedicated herself to the school as a board member, Latin teacher, and ultimately the sixth grade teacher for the past 12 years.

Lynne lived her life to be the strongest supporter and biggest cheerleader for her children. Nothing brought her more joy than her grandchildren. She was a confidant and best friend to many, an excellent cook and an avid reader.

She was the beloved sister to Barbara Snyder, wife of Eric, of Linglestown, PA, and the favorite aunt to many nephews and nieces.

Lynne is preceded in death by her father, Brooks, her sister Susan Hutchinson, and her nephew David Hutchinson.

A memorial service for Lynne will be held Monday, August 21, 2023 at 10:00 am at New Covenant Presbyterian Church, 128 St. Marys Church Rd, Abingdon, MD 21009.
