Lifting you all in prayer at this time. We loved Mary Lu's fun spirit especially riding back & forth to work on the 19 Express Line for many years. I don't know what to say as this comes as such a shock. We were good friends but never met. I met her on the internet playing games right after my husband passed away in 1998. She was such a wonderful person, so compassionate and such an inspiration to me. She saw me through some hard times and I loved her. We continued to be friends online and swore that one day we would meet. I know that will still happen. My prayers and thoughts are with you all through this very hard time. I will NEVER forget  her. Thank you so much for letting me know.

My condolences to Mary Lou's family. May the Lord keep you in the palm of His hand. I knew dear Mary Lou through a mutual friend - one of her co-workers - and from the 19 bus.  She was a very lovely woman with a wonderful sense of humor.  She will be truly missed.

I met Mary Lou 7 years ago in a game site room. I was with 5 other people. We were the only ones in the room, so we were conversing in French. She came in with her friend, Booty.  After watching our chat for a few moments, she types in the chat..Do any of you speak English? Wanting to have a bit of fun, I said No English. She says.. Booty, they don't know English. We could say anything and they wouldn't know what we said. Booty says..Maybe .. Mary Lou says.. I could call him a monkey and he wouldn't know. Let's have some fun with them and call them silly names..They won't know. 
I typed a sentence in French and Mary Lou says..Wonder what he's saying?  I replied in English..I just called you a silly sock monkey and you didn't even know it! .. We all had a good laugh. That was the start of a very warm friendship with the two of them. All eight of us met each night and played all kinds of games and acted so silly. 

My dear friend, Mary Lou, Elise and I  feel a great emptiness in our hearts because we miss you so much, but we're happy you're in Heaven with God ...You're feeling His love and you're no longer in pain. Silly Sock Monkey, we love you so much!

Although we worked for the same company, we were in different states.  From the first time I spoke with Mary Lou she became my "partner" and I always enjoyed talking to her.  What a beautiful spirit and she is rightfully in her space as an Angel now!

I send my sincere condolences to the entire family.  I first met Mary Lou in January of 1986.  We became close friends and co-workers.  When I moved to California in 1994, we remained close through the letters we would send to each other.  What I always remember most about her is her humor.  Dear friend, you will be terribly missed.

She was such a good mother and grandmother. We always heard the latest news of her grandsons. She was so proud of all three of them. She loved her family very much. May God Bless all of you. 

I met Mary Lou 5 years ago through a mutual friend. She was always so full of life and laughter. She, our friend Booty, and I talked daily as we played games and visited web sites. We had such good times. The last thing she said to me was ... "If anything happens to me, please be there for Booty. We're "Bestest Friends" and I know I couldn't take losing her. She'll miss me so much because we love each other. We're like sisters". .... That was Mary Lou ... Thinking of someone else even though she was so ill. ...

On behalf of my father, Charles L. Baker, I send my deepest condolances to every family member.  He loved Mary Lou very much.  I hope and pray that they are together again, after so many years.

We are so sorry for your lost. Mary Lou was a good person. I will always have fond memories of visiting Aunt Charlotte and Uncle Pickles when I was going to school and the conversations Mary Lou and I had about shorthand and etc. I always enjoyed visiting with her at any family functions. The only sad thing is she wasn't able to join us in July. I will keep you and your families in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you.
