Michele Elizabeth Meisel

Michele Elizabeth Meisel née Keller passed away on April 5, 2026, at the age of 65. She was the beloved wife of Thomas M. Meisel; devoted mother of Mark Thomas Meisel and his wife Ashley, Michael Joshua Meisel and his wife Jessica, and Miranda Elizabeth Schatz and her husband Andrew; dear sister of Donald Keller, David Keller, and Karen Arreguin; loving MiMi of Ella Meisel, June Meisel, and Margaret Meisel; also survived by many relatives and friends.

She loved her family fiercely, holding them at the very center of her life and heart. An accomplished student, she graduated summa cum laude with Dean’s special recognition, a reflection of both her intellect and determination. She carried that same dedication into her career as a nurse, spending her life caring for others with compassion and unwavering commitment—it was not just her profession, but truly her calling, as she was a nurse at heart in every sense. Through life’s challenges, she fought with strength when she could and accepted reality with grace when she had to, embodying resilience and dignity. Beyond her achievements, she found her greatest joy in simple, meaningful moments—gathering with family, sharing drinks, laughter, and the kind of memories that will be cherished forever.

Visitation will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc., 610 W MacPhail Rd, Bel Air, MD 21014, on Wednesday April 8, 2026, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm and from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and on Thursday, April 9, 2026, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm.
