Philip Rainer Nelson

Philip Rainer Nelson 68 of Joppatowne Md, passed away on October 11, 2019 at his home.

Philip was born in Baltimore on June 4, 1951. He graduated from Edgewood High School and then enlisted into the United States Air Force.

Philip had a great fondness for trivia and music with an extensive collection of CD’s and DVD’s. He especially enjoyed creating his yearly Christmas CD that he would give to his family and friends.

He had a kind heart and loved many.

He was the beloved son of Henry F. Nelson and Louise E. Nelson of Joppatowne.

After being sidelined with health issues he began to study the computer where he spent long hours online shopping and playing computer games

Philip is survived by his loving mother, Louise, his 2 brothers, William H. Nelson and Raymond B. Nelson, His sister, Mary Louise Kellogg; his nieces and nephews; and the rest of his family and friends.

Philip was preceded in death by his father, Henry, as well as his sister, Susan L. Shannon.

A memorial service is scheduled on Saturday, November 9, 2019 at 1:00 pm at the Holy Spirit Church on Joppa Farm Road in Joppa Maryland.
