Robert S. Scherer Jr. was born on February 2, 1952, and passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 73. Robert was a resident of Jarrettsville, Maryland. Beloved husband of the late Donna J. Scherer; devoted father of Valerie Depew and her husband David, Amanda Bocek and her husband Scott, and Gregory Scherer and his wife Allison; loving grandfather of Samantha and Cassidy Depew, Colton and Finley Bocek, Charlie and Gunnar Scherer; dear brother of Patricia Snyder and her husband Thomas.
A visitation for Robert will be held at Schimunek Funeral Home of Bel Air, Inc. 610 W. MacPhail Road Bel Air, MD 21014 on Wednesday, December 10th, from 5-8pm. Where a Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, December 11th, beginning at 10am. Entombment to follow at Highview Memorial Gardens.
