I miss you so much, Steve. I love you and I am so thankful for our many years together. Rest in Jesus. 

Steve was a true and loyal lifelong friend.  He  took a special interest in our disabled son Matthew.  Steve always answered Matt’s phone calls no matter what he was doing and played an important role in Matt’s world.  Matthew looked up to Steve as  a mentor and a hero.   
     Steve always gave  of himself freely with a smile and laugh.  We will miss him terribly and I am extremely grateful to have had the opportunity to know him and to tell him what he meant to us before his passing.

Milty had such a big heart for those he loved. After losing dad it was a comfort to see Milty and hear the stories of their younger days. Every time I saw Milty it was like a little piece of dad was there with us. I will miss him coming to talk to us each summer during baseball season and sharing the special milestones we have had so far in our life and those to come.  I’m glad he was able to meet little Greg and hope he will tell dad that he did a good job making him a special little boy. 

Cherish your memories and they will help on the hardest of days. 

I had the pleasure of being teammates with Steve and Kevin when my family first came to Perry Hall back in the 60s. Growing up in the city I played baseball but not football. When we moved to the county and we passed old Lassahn field and saw the kids playing football I said to my dad can I play. Well I did and some of my first teammates were the Bradley boys. Nice guys and friends to this day.

I miss eating crabs with Steve. I will always remember him as a nice guy. 

I first remember Steve from the playground  ( tar and chip parking lot ) of St Joes school .  Tar and chip and lots of kids.  in Autumn we had acorns for additional entertainment.  Fast forward to Ginos hamburger shop; late sixties  and now black pants, white shirts and ... the hat.   We were all trained at several different stations: counter, grille, french fry or chicken.  Making $1.15   / hr  not everyone had a drivers license, or car.  
Steve was an elder  and knew the ropes, picked and chose who he would train well and who would ... have difficulty "getting it" .  He built his cabal of associates and formed his own union within the store.  ( he  always liked unions as I recall )  
  We would drink some beers after work, I remember Steve talking about his early years dealing with foot surgery, being stuck in the hospital, and recovering afterward, this changes people. special care for shoes, hammer toes, cutting tendons , more recovery, It's part of what made him Steve.  We became close and eventually he was my best man for Marriage rev1. 
   Many of us remember sitting in Pete and Ag's basement watching football, Young boys as we became men . 
   Time passes and we all flow with the rivers destined to us , Steve and Debbie took me and my kids  in as, wife #1 went through rehab, and I now believe  Young Joe took his first stab at withdrawl.  Time has blurred my view of the past, but I'll never forget Patrick mating the recusitation bag with his little doll which had a trake . Helicopter rides also change you. 
  In all of the times I recall, many pressures would have bent others , they did bend me , Steve was pretty resolute, he came back with his off paced humor, careful deliberation  and a sly half cocked smile ... different than Cool Hand Luke , but Classic Steve in his own rite. 
  We talked a few days before his passing and I am thankful for that  Dave Billings put us back in touch , great work Dave, Thx again.

Steve was a valued member of our team at BSC. He was a true gentleman. He will be greatly missed by our family and our associates and customers. He was always helpful and kind, offering advice and he always spoke of his love for his family and friends. We are thinking of you all - and sending our prayers. Where to start ? I tell people often that Steve( Milty, more on that later ) , has been my friend longer than anyone else in my life. I knew  of Steve in grade school and briefly thru rec football . I should add I'm older than Steve. I believe he played for the red team, I the blue team . Note we were ahead of the times with our politically neutral names . But it was thru Gino's that we became fast friends . I'd had a few years in when Steve started  and I found it necessary to provide nicknames to the rookies . " Milty " seemed a natural for someone with the last name of Bradley. Milt took it in his usual good nature and it wasn't long before others and even family began calling him Milty. Milt really could organize things on the job and when his brother began working there we became quite a team and pretty much ran the restaurant. Milt and I enjoyed many things in life together : a semester break trip to Key West , fishing trips in the bay and trout fishing which I " talked " him into but he did it for me . Trips to the beach , can't talk about all that happened on those. School together at UB. Lunch together downtown when we worked there. Crab feasts, important events with family. The Indy 500 , can't talk about a lot of that either, and can't really remember enough of it anyway . I could go on and on after all Milt has been my friend for.....well u know awhile!
Through it all I looked to Milt to organize things expertly , no one was better at it.And the memory, he remembered everyone we ever worked with , every teacher we ever had, every game we ever played, everywhere we ever went.Man , I admired that about him.Milt was always in control of a situation, and with this gleam in his eye he'd  say ,' No I'll tell you what we're gonna do or I told him this is how it's going to go'! He was a brilliant tactician , another thing I admired greatly
I won't talk to u again Milt but you've left me enough memories to last my lifetime. Love ya man! 

I first met Steve through his brother Kevin. We all played football together at Perry Hall rec center. Steve was my crew chief at Perry Hall Gino’s in 1971-72. Steve always made sure the work was fun and the beer was cold.  We kept it iced down in the Gino’s ice bins to enjoy once closing was finished along with leftover chicken. Lifetime friendships came out of that place and Steve was most certainly one of them. We both attended the University of Baltimore and drove together to classes in 1975-76. Steve would put bus trips together for Notre Dame Football games in the area that were always a great time.  Well organized and a great bang for the buck. In 2006, Steve, Kevin, my brother David and myself traveled for a weekend ND football  game at South Bend, IN. It was a blast, all four of us in side by side double beds. We talked like teenagers for most of the night.  Steve was very knowledgeable about the Colts and The CFL. He loved to talk football, really talk football. I recently watched a ND football game at his new house and he talked through the entire first half. I told him at halftime that I only remembered watching 2 plays. We really laughed about that. Steve had a great laugh and always seemed happy. He really loved his job at the car auction, especially  the challenge of collecting money from the buyers.

Steve was a super guy. A great family man and a real leader. I am proud to say Steve was my friend and will miss him tremendously.

We remember Steve as a very thoughtful, caring and loving man.  He was so very proud of his grandchildren.  He shared stories and videos of all his adorable grandkids like a very proud grandfather.   

Mike and I thought of him as our extended family.  He was always there for all family gatherings and celebrations where he saw to everyone's needs and wants.   This is where the "thoughtful, caring and loving" was seen by all.

We will miss him dearly and will be thinking of and praying for his family.

Steve was a great friend and mentor when we worked together at Butler Capital and we remained friends afterwards.  

He taught me a lot about Maryland when we moved here 18 years ago:  1) How to eat crabs (still can't get it right), to put Old Bay on most things (that I got), 2) to not like the "Indianapolis" Colts, and 3) to never use Mayflower Movers because of what they did.

We still had the cardboard fireplaces that we bought together 17-years ago and displayed each Christmas.  

He will be missed!

Over the years, you and I have taken different paths after Union Trust Bank and Signet Bank  but I've always thought of you as a friend and someone I could talk with and we traded many stories over the years.  I have thought of you over the years and while we didn't have many opportunities to get together, I enjoyed our conversations and will miss them.
