Pat Hale arranged for us girls to go horseback riding west of Ennis, Montana. The horses were rented with a guide from a local ranch. The horses were nicer than the usual "dude" horses, but one was a  mule. Guess who got the mule! Yep! Sue was a super good sport with the "of-course-I-would-get-the-mule" chuckle.

I have known Sue since we went to St. Joseph Hospital School of Nursing, in the 1970s.  We then worked together in the ICU for many many years.  She was one of the smartest and best nurses I've ever worked with and she took wonderful care of her patients!  Everyone loved her  kindness and especially her very funny sense of humor.  We drove to work together many years and that kept us awake after the long night shifts.  Sue was a wonderful chef and baker, everyone loved her chocolate butter brickle. Nothing was ever too much to ask of Sue. She was always kind and giving. Over the past few days fellow nurses have been sharing their admiration and fond memories of Sue. We all have them. Sue was just that special!  I witnessed the wonderful loving care that Amanda, Jenny, and Becky gave to their Mom up to the very end. Sue and Jeff have raised three very wonderful girls!  I know Sue was so extremely proud of them as she has every right to.  May God bless all of you and comfort you.  Heaven has received a very special angel indeed❤️

Wayne and I will miss you very much. You were a very loving and giving person, Sue.
Your family was everything to you. Your love and compassion will live on through your
beautiful girls, Amanda, Jen, Becky and your sweet Grandchildren Nik and Liddy.

Cuz, to all the crazy childhood memories, the sleep overs at GawGaw where we had most of our fun; the crazy sleep overs at your house when we drove your brothers nuts; the outings to the local bar, when we drove my parents crazy; the trip around Columbia before it was developed. Not enough room to let you know how you held a bond on my heart that only a sister could hold. Thank you for making me laugh often, I love you Suzanne 

Heaven gained another angel today. Ms. Sue was a beautiful,  thoughtful, kind person. She will be greatly missed by many.   Whenever I saw Ms. Sue, she always went out of her way to assure that my family and I were comfortable and brightened any day that we were in contact with her.  I remember when my son Blake was a toddler and we were visiting for the weekend, she went completely out of her way to make the weekend special. Not only did she make a fabulous dinner but also stocked chicken nuggets and goldfish for Blake. She set us up with snacks for a movie and the next morning had a beautiful table set for breakfast when we awoke.  Before we returned home, she not only surprised us with snacks but also had a gift for Blake.  This story is just a small example of what type of person Ms. Sue was. Ms. Sue should be an inspiration to all of us as we learn to love each other more and ensure that our fellow man is taken care of (no matter how big or small). I know that Ms. Sue is smiling down on all of us in peace, with family (and Missy) by her side. My deepest sympathies and love to Jen and family.

Friends with Sue from Fallston Middle. The sweetest woman, this is so sad. Sue was taken too young and far too suddenly. My most sincere condolences to family and friends.
