I am so sorry. Bill was truly a man of character, always had time for a kind word or a smile and a quick laugh. He was one of the few people who always saw the good in people, was always a positive spirit. When I think of Grand mom Gull and how Bill always respected her it brings a flood of great memories, thinking of the simple things like a bowl of home made chicken noodle soup :)

So sorry to hear of your loss.  I will miss Bill's smile at 10:30 mass each Sunday.  He had a way of making you feel welcome and he always made sure Jane, Trish and myself had seats together.  My prayers are with you and your family.

I ushered with Bill at 10:30 a.m. Mass at St. Ignatius on Sunday morning. He always had a smile on his face and when I brought my baskets back to be emptied he always said " Thank you, Kim ". Bill was a true gentleman. He will be missed by all of his fellow ushers. However, we know that he his smiling down on us from heaven. Kim Dignan, Bel Air, Md.

Please accept our heartfelt condolences on the loss of your loved one. I had the opportunity to play music with your son, Michael. It was always refreshing to see that he had parents that were like mine, who supported some of our crazy ideas.

Bill accepted me into his family as if I were his son when I married his daughter Kathy. He was the best father in law a guy could have, Always supportive and always there for us. Our children, Maddy & Liam adored their grandad so much & loved to go over to grandads house. A massive part of our family has been taken from us but he will never be forgotten and we will love him always.

Deepest sympathies on your loss. Words can't express how sad we were to hear of Bill's passing. I had the honor of working with Bill in the last years of his Union career. I was in awe of his work ethic, passion for what he believed in and simple message of trying to make people's lives better.  On a personal note, Bill was a huge mentor and true friend who was always there for me. He will be missed by the Membership and Officers of Local 3 Boston GCC/IBT.

I first met Mr. Bill when I showed up at his house to play music with his son Mike in 1990, he was friendly and supportive. Every Friday night myself and two other characters would meet at the Beresh's house to jam, all those years he and Mrs Claudia put up with the strange noises that came from their basement. Few people are able to 'touch' others the way Bill was able to do.  Not only was he my brother Knight, he was my friend, and I will miss him greatly.  God bless the Beresh family in your time of grief.  The St. Ignatius Council of the Knights Of Columbus will always be here for you.

We are shocked by Bill's passing,and still can't believe it..Our thoughts and prayers are with Claudia,and the entire Beresh family.If there is anthing at all we can do,please don't hesitate.Bill and I go back a very long way,8th grade Hampstead Hill JHS(1953).We were in the same class all thru Patterson Park HS,and we walked home most everyday,thru the park.Will never forget all the good times we had togeather.He was always a good buddy and great friend! We will truly miss him.God bless you,buddy.
