William Allen Ramsey

Bill is survived by his daughter Jamie, son BJ; his grandchildren David and Helene; sister Shirley, brothers Grant (Kathleen), Paul (Jessica) and 6 nieces and 1 nephew. He is preceded in death by his wife Kathy; his father Pack, mother Ruth and sister Joyce.

Bill was born on October 29th, 1951 in Berkley, WV. When Bill was young he moved to Maryland and worked many years at General Motors. He had a love and passion for cars prompting him to open G&W Motors with his brother in 1982 and retiring the used car business in 2015

Bill was a great man, a loving father and grandfather. His family and friends will always remember him as a good-natured gentleman with a southern accent who was such a kind and giving person.

Relatives and friends are invited to gather at Schimunek Funeral Home, 610 W. MacPhail Road, Bel Air, on Thursday from 4-9 pm. A private burial will be held in Bluefield, WV.
