Charles Ellifritt, age 64, of Belton, Missouri passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, March 19, 2023 in the home he shared with his wife of 35 years Laurie Ellifritt. Charles was preceded in death by his father James Ellifritt of Oklahoma and mother Joan Ellifritt of Merseyside, England; five brothers Jackie, James, Bobby, Kenneth, and John Ellifritt; sister Joanne Adams; daughter Misti Spinks of Oklahoma; and his beloved dog named Bear. He is survived by his wife Laurie Ellifritt of Belton Missouri; sons Charles, Jr. and wife Robin Ellifritt, Mathew and wife Michelle Ellifritt; daughter Naomi Ellifritt and partner Jacob Beingessner; eight grandsons Zachariah, Austin, Elijah, and Noah Ellifritt, Jude Beingessner, Blake Richeson, Lucas Gloyd and Elliot Beingessner; three granddaughters Alexis Ellifritt, Evelynn Beingessner, and Vivian Gloyd; sister Tracey Ellifritt-Compton; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Charles Ellifritt was a momma-loving, hard-working, devoted father, loving husband and big family man. He enjoyed family dinners, playing games and laughing with loved ones, driving his truck, country music, staying in cabins with his wife in Pigeon Forge, camping and being outside, playing on the floor with his grandchildren and being ornery to make everyone smile. He was a comforting hug and listening ear to many. He loved family and being needed. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
A visitation for Charles will be held Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at McGilley & George Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri. His funeral will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 at 10:00 AM at the McGilley and George Funeral Home 12913 Grandview Road, Grandview, Missouri. Burial will occur Friday, March 24, 2023 at 11:00 AM in the Belton Cemetery, 710 S. Scott, Belton, Missouri.
