Well, its my 26th birthday today and I woke up way to early hoping I had a text from you like every year saying happy birthday son! but this year I should not wait for one. This wont be a long entry, I thank you for my creation and thank want you to know I think of you everyday and think of what great man I have become, and you had a part in that. So Thank you! I love you Dad.

Dad ur now 50 yrs old. I came an put flowers next to u an grandma sense we are workin on gettin u a head stone. But dwight an Amy came an I wanna say lindsey did too. But I jus want you to know I think of u all day everyday none stop an i will never stop thinking about u. I hope ur feeling better an u an grandma are now together an happy. I jus wish u both could be here with me other than spiritually. But hey I can't complain cus ur here either way. I miss u lots an miss hearing your voice an reading ur text everyday sayin u loved me. I hold it in all the time when someone brings u up or whatever cus I try an be strong like u taught me to be. A friend u an uncle bob new worked on my car an he told me how he was sitting behind u on plane heard u talkin an when u guys got up an off plane u guys were shocked to see one another. An how he spoke about it an what u said an reacted back as he sounded jus like u it was crazy. I miss u dad an I jus wanna let u know I'm thankful to have u an mom cus otherwise I wouldn't be who I am today. Love ya ur lil girl. Xoxo

Your on my mind today as everyday but today is different its quit around the house and Im in thought, Christmas? I wont have a phone call or text. Should I text ur phone and just not exppect a reply? IDK. I love you dad and will never stop loving you.

My sincerest condolences to the family. I only remember meeting Francis once at one of the funerals but he was very kind to me and I am only sorry that he was taken before I could get to know him more. My love to the family and prayers for you all.

Fran you always made me laugh and I considered you a dear friend! Although as adults, our paths took us down different roads, the friendship that we started in high school has always been held in my heart! May you RIP my friend, you will be missed!

My sweet beautiful babies. I love you all so much. Mom just doesnt know the words to say but I know you all know daddy loved you very much and no matter what life brings us we have to be strong for one another and be happy and continue growing and suceeding because thats what he would want. He was so very proud of each and everyone of you and though hes not here physically he will always be with us spiritually. Cherish the moments we had because they were good. I love you all so much and I will always love you fran. I wont let you down when it comes to our kids. They are the best gift you ever gave me. You will never know how much im gonna miss you. i love you always

When Francis came to New Orleans this past July he made me promise not to cry when he got off the plane.  As much as I tried I could not hold back the tears.  He was smiling ear to ear laughing at me saying I look just like Patty (my Mom) I got to tease him back because he looked just like his Dad.  We hugged, I cried and he made me laugh so HE wouldn't start crying.  He reached for my right hand and we walked thru the airport like two little school children, giggling and talking non-stop.  I can't tell you what part of his vacation was more heart warming, seeing his face light up as we backed out of the driveway with my convertible top down, sun shineing and him leaning over to give me a sweet kiss telling me how much he loved me as we headed to the coast - or the way he exploded with excitement like a little boy when we toured the USS Alabama.  Fran's father was a Navy man so it was pretty cool to see a real battleship inside and out. If Fran told me once he told me a thousand times while he was here not to cry.  He said he wasn't afraid to die, he just didn't want to leave.  He said I wore him out trying to take him to see as much as I could.  I tried to cram as much joy into his week as he could physically stand.  It was just like when we were kids and I will cherish every memory, every photo and every day we shared that special week. His biggest fear was leaving his children behind.  He wanted to see them grow up and facing the reality of his illness was overwhelming an yet he kept that beautiful smile on his face.  So, here I am knowing I will see him tomorrow and I keep hearing his voice telling me, "Don't cry when you see me, I'm fine, I promise...I'm fine".  I know I will cry anyway and now I know for sure you ARE fine.  You are with the Lord.  You are home.  I love you Francis.  God rest your soul.

I`m so sorry to hear about Francis. I tried facebooking him today and then found out. I was thinking about him. God Bless your family.

Bob, I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your brother. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Matt, Lindsey,Amber we are all so sorry to hear about the loss of your Dad.  We will keep you in our prayers.  Heaven is a place we can all look forward to.  Never give up on faith and know that he is in a much happier place now.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you all!

Matt, Lindsey and Amber - I'm so sorry to hear about your father.  I don't know if you remember who I am or not but I would be your cousin.  I am Wendall's daughter Renea.  Through Facebook U. Fran got in touch with me and we chatted a few times.  It was good to hear from him.  It has been many years since I last saw him.  He was always so sweet to me and I know he loved me even though we didn't see each other much.  I have nothing but good memories about your dad.  I know he loved you kids very much.  Just stay strong and stay close to each other no matter what.  There will always be trying times but you don't know what's gonna happen tomorrow.  Make sure you tell each other you love one another.  I do wish I could come to his memorial but, it isn't possible at this time.  I will be thinking of your family and the rest of the family during this time.  I'm so glad that dad and U. Fran were able to say their peace before he left this world.  A. Patty is a strong lady/sister for taking on such a task that she did.  True sisterly love.  Thank you A. Patty for being strong for U. Fran.  Love to all and again I will be thinking of you all.  Take Care of yourselves.  Oh, I taught ur dad how to make smiley faces and hearts on chat and he was so proud of himself.  The last message he sent me was that he forgot how to make them and my last message to him was a smiley face and a heart.  He was like a little kid learning how to make those.  LOL

Dad there will not be a day that i never forget about you, you will always be with me an in my heart. Noone could ever replace you. You were the best dad anyone could ask for. You raised me to be caring, loving, an someone who can forgive those who make mistakes in life. Cause noone is perfect.As ive grown up ive realized how important it is to keep those you love close to you no matter what comes in between. I know there were times us kids would stress you an mom out but no matter what you guys still loved us an cared for us. I wish there was never a such thing as death but as we see there is a such thing. Dad i never saw this day come an the time i got the phone call u was sick an i needed to get to the hospital i rushed up there an waited tell i could see u an yes u didnt get to open your eyes an see us kids where there but i know you could hear every word we had said. I didnt know what to think when i left that day other than tell myself your gonna make it threw this an your gonna get better an soon we'd get that liver for you an you would be home were you wanted to be.. Few days passed an you got better an better each day up until the day u got to leave there an go home to aunt pattys like you had ask for an you had gotten there safe an ur blood pressure had dropped a lil but you was still breathing thats all that had mattered. You stayed strong dad you really did but you jus took that last breath of air an had went to heaven were you are now with grandma an in a safe an non suffering place you did your best with fighting this you really did an im proud of you for being a great dad. You will Always be loved an Never forgotten! An ill always be daddys lil girl we all will miss you very much an dont worry when the day comes us kids an mom will always talk good upon our dad, all your future grand kids, future son in laws to, anyone who comes into our family will know who, as we all know as dad  Dad Ill always be safe knowing your watching over all of us. Life is a JOURNEY that God creates for each and everyone of us, and when that time comes at the end of that road when God says its time to come home, us here left on earth ask why? But yet we have to remeber that God has a purpose behind everything he allows to happen.I am the Son of Fran, just as Jesus is the son of God. I will miss hime forever but yet the memories that I have will slowly heal the pain of him not being here in the flesh. Reeality really hasnt set in my mind. I hope it does I know reality or does reality know me. I LOVE YOU DAD! So very much. I hope that your Proud of what I have turned out to be.
