James Michael Evans (Mike) was born December 24, 1948 to Barbara K. and William A. Evans in Wichita, Kansas. Mike was always a loving and caring brother, uncle, and friend. He would do anything for anyone. He loved his family and pets very much. Mike liked his politics, cleaning, loved talking to people and going out to eat. He also liked going to church and listening to country music. Mike loved his Kansas City Chiefs. He was loved very much. His family and friends will always miss him.
Mike was preceded in death by his parents, sister Donna Stuby, and brother William F. Evans. He is survived by his sister Kathy Evans, of the home; niece Deanna Melcher-Bair (Terry); nephew William R. Smith (Jeri Kay); great nieces and nephews: Leanna, Johna, Billy, Josh and Brandi; great-great nieces and nephews: Logan, Jordan, Mileena, Mariyah, AJ, Madison, John, Jaelynn, Will, Naiya, Leilani, Oliver, Avree and Lincoln.
